There are other actresses that always try to choose every detail of their looks carefully, Hailee Steinfeld and Selena Gomez are a example of that, both young actresses that go for outfits that make them look stylish and a little bit older too.
For this ocassion, Steinfeld of sixteen years, went for a black sequin lapel Louis Vuitton tuxedo, sequins that were also at the sides of her pants, Christian Louboutin peep-toe shoes, a glittery turquoise and black striped clutch of Edie Parker, and to give an accent of color a matte red lipstick.
However, her choice did not make her look as young as she is; her attempt to look more mature turned out a little bit forced, and dull. The fact that she wanted to differentiate from the contemporary actresses like Elle Fanning, who wore floral prints on her Dolce and Gabbana romper and wedges plattforms, accompanied by a thin "H and M" belt, is great, but she did not make it right; this time Fanning accomplished an ensemble more age-appropiate, because she has also made mistakes like wearing outfits that were not vey flattering for her age.

Para esta ocasión, Steinfeld de dieciséis años, optó por un smoking de Louis Vuitton con solapa de lentejuelas, que también iban a los costados del pantalón, zapatos negros de punta abierta de Christian Louboutin, un vanité de Edie Parker de rayas turquesas brillantes y negras con lentejuelas también, y para dar la nota de color un lápiz labial rojo matte.
Sin embargo, su elección, mas bien le echó unos años encima, se vio un poco forzado su intento por optar por una tenida que la hiciera ver más madura, y la hizo ver hasta un poco sosa. Está bien que haya querido diferenciarse de sus contemporáneas como Ellen Fanning que llevó estampados florales en su enterizo corto y plataformas de Dolce and Gabbana, que acompañó con una correa de H and M; ella pudo lograr esta vez, un look más acorde a sus cortos trece años, pues en otros eventos también ha cometido el error de llevar trajes que no le favorecían a su edad.

For this Awards, she wore a mini gold metallic frock from N°21 Pre-Fall 2011 Collection by Alessandro Dell'Acqua, black Walter Steiger heels and House of Lavade ring.
This look was not flattering at all for the 23-year-old actress, in combination with her new haircut. She looked older, and even though she decided to show her legs, the rest of the dress did not enhance her beauty.

El look no fue favorecedor para la actriz de 23 años, en combinación su corte de cabello. Se le vio mayor, y si bien optó por solo lucir sus piernas, el resto del vestido no le hizo justicia alguna. No como a la actriz de Transformers que si supo llevar un vestido corto que también tenía mangas largas.
