LIF Week 12 - Adolfo Dominguez

LIF Week 12’s runway was opened by the spanish designer Adolfo Dominguez, the guest for this year. He showed his outfits for women and men.

His garments seemed to have a “’70s meets safari” vibe, but they were really inspired by the silhouettes of the ‘50s, being this shapes the main inspiration.  Colors such as yellow, tangerine and light-blue were part of the palette, appearing in backless dresses and low-cut dresses, shoulders were also shown. They were light and used the collar neck trend. The waist line was accentuated with thin belts and chains.

For men, the color pallete was full of neutral tones, incluiding tan, grey and lead-gray. Blue gave the accent of color, in striped t-shirts and in nehrú and sport blazers. Jumpers were part of the collection too. As for accessories, camel bags were the choice.

LIF Week 12 - Adolfo Dominguez

La pasarela del LIF Week 12 la abrió ayer el diseñador español Adolfo Domínguez, con su propuesta para hombres y mujeres. 

La propuesta para ellas parece tener un aire setentero y de safari, pero estuvo inspirado en realidad, en la silueta de los años 50 ,teniendo como eje principal la silueta femenina. Se trabajaron colores como el amarillo, el tangerine y el celeste, con escotes profundos, en su mayoría, en la espalda, dejando lucir también los hombros en vestidos vaporosos que siguieron la tendencia del collar neck. La cintura estuvo ceñida con cinturones delgados y cadenas. 

En hombres, la paleta de colores fue de tonos neutros como el habano, el gris y el plomo. El azul dio el acento de color, en polos a rayas, chaquetas de cuello sport y en las de cuello nehrú con una larga fila de botones. Los enterizos también fueron parte de la propuesta masculina. En cuanto accesorios, se complementó el look con bolsos color camel.

LIF Week 12 is here

The second edition of the event: LIF Week or Lima Fashion Week has just been inaugurated and it’s taking place again at the Jockey Club of Peru,  showing the work of 11 fashion designers. The idea of having a fashion week at our country has had a great repercussion and has been well received; therefore, this time, tickets for the show can be bought at the stores of Teleticket, or via web. Organized by Efrain Salas Vinatea, on this occasion the event includes the participation of two fashion designers that were absent last year , such us Andrea Llosa and Edward Venero.  

Among other new things, LIF Week 12 is now pet-friendly, allowing the entry of toy breed dogs, but only carried in a bag.

El LIF Week 12 ya está aquí

La segunda edición del LIF Week o Lima Fashion Week (la Semana de la Moda de Lima) ha llegado nuevamente al Jockey Club, presentándonos del  23 al 28 de abril las colecciones de 11 diseñadores. La idea de contar con una semana de la moda en nuestro país, ha tenido un efecto positivo y ha logrado una muy buena acogida, es por esto, que para este año, el hecho de no contar con una invitación no será problema, ya que podrán conseguir su entrada comprándola en Teleticket, vía presencial o vía internet. Organizado por Efraín Salas Vinatea, esta vez el evento cuenta con la participación de diseñadores que no pudimos ver el año pasado, como Andrea Llosa y Edward Venero. 

Entre otras novedades que nos trae el LIF Week 12, es que ahora es pet-friendly, lo que significa que podrás llevar a tu mascota contigo siempre y cuando sea de tamaño toy (que pese menos de 3 kilos) y puedan ser transportados en un maletín que pueda ser ubicado debajo de tu asiento.
